Step 2
First, go to the phone setting by clicking the setting menu, then go to the portable hotspot/hotspot.
One opening the hotspot menu there will be an option “set up portable hotspot”.
Click on the “set up portable hotspot” to go the setup menu of the hot spot.
After going into the setup hotspot the details will look like this but the main thing to notice here is the “Select AP Band”, which is by default selected 5.0 GHzThis 5.0GHz is not compatible with the old devices because old devices re still running on the older 2.4 GHz AP band. This 5.0GHz is not compatible with the old devices because old devices re still running on the older 2.4 GHz AP band.
Now all you have to do is to change the AP BAND from 5.0 GHz to 2.4 GHz. Now the band is changed to 2.4 GHz, let’s save it and then start the portable hotspot normally.
From now on you will be able to see the hotpot address will be visible to other devices also.
And these steps will be common for all Xiaomi devices and the same method will be followed for all smartphone which has a similar problem.[simple-author-box]
