Reliance Jio announced the new method to recharge through the WhatsApp chatbot. They have made an official announcement through Twitter. This method is also made live on their website right at the same time. Here is how you can do the recharge in following steps.

Recharge Your Jio Number Using WhatsApp Chatbot
Jio Whatsapp chatbot provides you various kinds of information such as Covid vaccine and info, Jio SIM recharge, MNP and Support for Jiofibre, JIO mart & Intl Roaming. To get started with you need to send a message to the WhatsApp chatbot.
1. The official WhatsApp number of the JioCare chatbot is +91 70007 70007. You can alternatively use this link to directly access the chatbot. Just send a “Hi” and it will reply with some automated message. Tap on the main menu and go to Jio SIM Recharge, then select Jio Mobile Recharge & press Send.
2. Now tap on the “Jio Mobile Recharge” option where you will again get various options such as view all plans, recharge for a friend, buy intl roaming packs, recharge issue. Select from options “View All Plans” and tap “SEND“.
3. All popular plans will be shown with a reply number for quickly choosing the plan. If you want more then tap on “Explore plans” which will lead you to the Jio website. Suppose you want to recharge the 555 plan then just send message “2” and you will get the recharge now option below. Clicking on the Recharge now will again direct you to the Jio website.
So basically the final recharge process will ultimately happen on the Jio website. There you can choose from all popular payment methods to recharge your number.
Jio Freedom Recharge Plans
Recently Jio has introduced the latest Jio Freedom Plans where the minimum recharge starts from Rs. 127 (for 15 days) to Rs. 2397 (for 365days). This freedom plan is basically focused on freedom from daily data limit. So you can use all data the same day or carry it forward till the plan ends. This is quite cool and interesting for those who have discrete data requirements.
