Since there is no native support then we have to take the support of a third-party plugin. There are two suitable plugins available right now from Telegraphics & Github.

What is Webp image format?

Webp is an image format that was developed by Google. This is the image format that is used immensely on websites dues to its reduced lossless image quality. Due to the low sized of Webp format, it is used across websites to load webpage faster.

Webp image file format can be exported in the lossless and lossy compression method. In both cases, the image will be highly compressed.
