Share Youtube Video at a Specific Time in App & Browser

Youtube is the most consumed video platform available in the market. The major contributing factors are lightning-fast servers, high-quality content from all genres, and available in most of the local languages. So being famous, it is also shared over different platforms such as social media, forums, websites, and smartphone applications. Sharing videos has always been the best way to connect your emotions.

When you think of sharing a video with someone, you don’t want to share the entire video content. You want specific timing of video to be shared with whom you are sharing. If you have something like this in your mind, then youtube has already integrated this feature in browsers, but don’t worry, we have a workaround for the youtube app also.

Share Youtube Videos at a Specific Time

Step 1: Open the Video which you want  to share

Step 2: Then click on the share link which you can find just below the video

Step 3: You will get a popup window to copy the link or directly share it to social media websites.

Step 4: Below the URL link, there is a box to select the start time. This box will have time value equal to the amount of time video you have watched the video. But if you want to direct this video to some other time, then manually fill the value in the format mm:ss (for e.g. 2min 3 sec can be filled as 02:03).

Step 5: As you fill the value, the URL Link will be automatically updated. Now you can share the video with a new link.

Method 2 :

This method is also similar to the previous method, but the only difference is that previously it was done by browser here you have to do it manually.

Step 1: First Copy the URL of the video, which you can find it in the browser address box. The URL link will look like this ” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lG1uNWoykBA

Step 2: To directly share the youtube video to the specific time, add “/?t=mm:ss ” at the end of the URL.
